Civic Engagement
The Bonner Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) at the University of Richmond brings together campus and community members in collaborative study, reflection and action to address contemporary social issues in Richmond and throughout the world. The CCE offers weekly brown-bag discussions on social issues, fellowships for research on societal problems, and summer funding for academically grounded non-profit internships. Students can also engage the city through the Bonner Scholars Program, Build It, and the Richmond Families Initiative coordinated by the CCE. Through research, dialogue, service-learning, and service, students can work for social change.
