Beyond the Classroom 

Dear New Student,

The University of Richmond is truly a campus committed to personal support. The community is a dynamic, 24-hour a day, residential environment. Therefore, a great deal of your educational experience will come from life outside of the classroom. As the vice president for Student Development, I work with a number of the programs and services that will assist you with many of the goals you have for your experiences outside of the classroom. The motto for the Student Development division is that we are “Partners in Learning.” We are here to assist you in your academic, physical and social adjustment to college life.
