Your I.D. Card

As you prepare for your University of Richmond experience, an important first step is obtaining a University of Richmond Identification Card. Your Richmond ID card provides you access to the Library, your residence hall, and your meal plan. Your Richmond ID card may also be used as a debit card to make on-campus purchases at the Bookstore, Dining Services cash operations, and at all vending machines. Information about using your ID card as a debit card is available on our One-Card Services Web site.

For access to your ID card when you arrive, please upload a photo of yourself by July 15. The photo should be a color passport, digital, or other professional photo (app. 2.5” x 3.5”) of only you. The photo should be saved as an attachment with a JPEG extension. Please include your name and your 8-digit student ID number with your photo. If you have questions about the appropriateness of your photo, contact us at one-card@richmond.edu.

If you do not have the ability to download a photo, please mail your photo to arrive by the July 15 deadline to the address below. Please do not send the photo in with deposits and/or payments.

Your ID card will be ready for pick-up during orientation in August. If you are unable to submit a photo via mail or email, ID card processing, including taking your photo, will be available during orientation in August.

Note: This image will also be used in conjunction with your Student Information for Academic Advisor Form, so it is essential that you submit one if at all possible.
