International Students

The Office of International Education is here to assist you in making the transition to the University of Richmond and to the United States. We realize that this transition, like any from one culture to another, will require significant thought and flexibility. We would like to do whatever we can to make your stay at Richmond pleasant and profitable.

International Students who intend to earn their degree at the University of Richmond should work through all aspects of the New Student Checklist and review all the information the Web site provides. In addition, please visit the International Student Arrival site for important dates and information that will help you prepare to arrive in Richmond during August.  

You will also need to complete the Arrival Form and submit it by August 1, and you should review the information about International Student Orientation and Housing Check-In.
