Forms and Deadlines Checklist
The checklist of forms and deadlines is intended for new first-year and transfer students who have paid their enrollment deposit, received acknowledgement from the University, and are planning to begin taking classes in January 2021.
Most of the forms and steps below can be completed in one sitting. However, two forms require additional lead time: the Health History Record requires information from your physician; and the Family Data Form requires detailed information about your family.

Today: Activate Your Account
Activate Your Richmond Account
Many of the steps below require you to log in to your University of Richmond student account with your Net ID and password. Activating your account takes just a few minutes, so this is the place to start. Remote Study Deadline – due by October 1
New first-year students beginning in January are particularly encouraged to begin their studies in-person. First-year students who are unable to get to campus or do not wish to study in-person in spring 2021 may begin their studies as remote students by completing the remote study request by October 30.
Expect to Hear from your Academic Advisor
If you are an incoming first-year student, your Academic Advisor will contact you to make an appointment to meet during Spring Advising Week (November 2 - 6, 2020). If you are transferring from another college or university, you will hear from an academic advisor in December. Be sure to read the Plan and Register section of this website and become familiar with the information you will need for registration. And, of course, the Academic Advising Resource Center staff is always available to answer your questions.
Complete Your Housing Application – due November 1
New students and those who are remote in Fall 2020, and who wish to be housed on campus in Spring 2021 should fully complete the Spring Application available in the red bar in the StarRez portal by November 1. New first-year students are guaranteed on-campus housing and will receive information on their housing assignment by November 13 to their University of Richmond email address. Students who are studying remotely may not live on campus.
Disability Accommodations – due November 2
If you believe you qualify for accommodation(s) based on a diagnosed disability, please submit an Application for Disability Accommodation. Disability Services accepts applications on a rolling basis, however, in order to provide time for processing prior to the start of the spring semester we recommend applying by Monday, November 2nd. More information is available on the Disability Services Website.
QuikPay: UR’s Online Payment System
Students can sign their parents up for Richmond’s electronic invoices. Additional information regarding invoices, payments, etc., can be found in the Student Accounts Handbook.
